Thermosetting plastic - Online course
This education is mandatory for Lashstylists and nail technologists who work with thermosets.
The purpose of the course is to inform about the risks that work with thermosets plastic and what protective measures may be needed for the work to be carried out in a safe manner.
After the training, the participant have knowledge of how these chemical products work and what chemical risks affect our health. The participant must have become aware of which legislation concerns chemical products and how these products are to be stored, as well as how to assess the risk of exposure to chemical risk sources and their labeling.
The training material includes a template on a list for risk assessment of chemical products that must be in your salon during an inspection.
The education includes the following parts:
- Basic knowledge of chemical products
- Review of aspects of handling that can be risky
- What happens during processing and thermal degradation
- Protective measures, ventilation, personal protective equipment and technology for cleaning and sanitation
- How to assess risk exposure to chemical sources of risk in the workplace according to the systematic work environment work (SAM)
- Be aware of which legislation concerns chemical products (CLP, REACH and UFI code)
